Summer is indeed the naturist season. Temperatures are generally good during the three summer months to allow for practical and comfortable Nudity. So here is the second post of our series on the seasons of naturism.
Leave your clothes in your cupboards
From 21 June to 21 September, It will be possible to limit your clothing choices to the bare minimum, nothing! Being naked from morning to evening and evening to morning is extraordinarily comfortable. If you have the opportunity to do so, but do not dare, cross the Rubicon! After a day spent naked, others will naturally follow, and you can spend several days completely naked, especially if you are spending your holidays in a naturist area.
Summer is a season conducive to nudity and to have your neighbors, friends, and family to discover naturism. So here are some ideas to spend more time naked at home, outside and in society.
Barbecue and Garden Day
If you are lucky enough to have a garden in which you can get naked without breaking the laws of your country, organize a naturist barbecue. Invite neighbors and friends, stating that this is a naturist day. They can if they wish to get naked or stay dressed. Invite some naturist friends not to be the only one nude.
If you are not comfortable with mixing textiles and naturists, limit the day to your naturist friends. It is also possible to limit the number of textile guests to those who want to embark on naturism, stating that nudity will be obligatory in order not to create a difference between guests. It’s up to you, but here’s a nice naturist day in perspective.
Picnic at the beach
If you don’t live too far from the sea or a naturist beach, organize a naturist picnic with friends. Again, this is a great opportunity to help some friends to discover naturism. As the context is public, it is sometimes easier to leap.
Think to bring some beach and water games, so that you can organize a small contest and totally demystify naturism in the eyes of your textile friends. It is a matter of taking full advantage of this beautiful day in total freedom.
Naked hike
If you like trekking and have not yet taken the step of doing it naked, summer is the ideal season. Especially with a group of friends with whom you are used to trekking. I wrote several posts on naked hiking: 11 suggestions on where and how hiking naked, 10 good reasons to hike naked.
Naturist Holidays
The Must! Whether in your home country or to an exotic destination, choose a naturist place to discover a new region of your country or the world and make you new naturist friends. Summer is the season of new acquaintances. Ideal for increasing the number of your friends and open up new possibilities to practice naturism together.
There are hundreds of naturist places in the world. Refer to the federations of the country you visit or the many naturist sites that exist as naturistbnb.com or spotnaked.com.
Naturist weekends and weeks
A challenge that I enjoy in summer is to set some days without clothes. For example, planning a weekend without clothes forces you to go shopping on weekdays not to have to get out of your home, or if you have to go out, stay naked. For example, drive naked to go to the beach and return the same. Not easy, but fun, especially if you do it with your spouse or friends (Fun, for example, to go spend the Sunday of your weekend naked with friends, leaving naked from home, driving naked and arriving naked at your friends).
If you can, push up to a week or two; not easy to do outside vacations, but not impossible if you can work from home or are retired. You’re going to tell me but if the mailman or a delivery boy rings at my door? I stay naked, but you decide!

Here in California we have 3 seasons of summer, best described as warm and hot with one season that would pass for spring in most places.
“Others, like Great Britain or Belgium, have legislation close to those of France.”
No! This is wrong. In England and Wales (laws are different in Scotland and N Ireland) it is legal to be naked anywhere in public providing you do not intend to cause harassment, alarm or distress. If you do there is a specific offence (“flashing”) which you will, rightly, be charged with. But simple nudity is legal anywhere. Guidance recently issued to all police forces in England and Wales tells them that if they receive a call about a naked person provided that person is not acting aggressively or does not appear to be in need of help they should take no action.
