Since I’ve discovered minimalism, I am linking it to naturism. Of course, it’s not because you’re a naturist that you’re a minimalist. I personnaly find the same kind of beauty in both. As you get rid of the objects you do not really love in your life, you get rid of those clothes that society imposes us to wear for “modesty”. Minimalism is a way to refuse the consumerism model the society is proposing us to embrace a simpler way.
Minimalism is not about refusing beauty, it’s about embracing simplicity. Naturism is not about refusing clothes, it’s about chosing when to wear them. What is a minimalist naturist? A naturist that is naked most of the time and has just the bare minimum of clothes and “things” to live a happy life. It’s not about being poor or being happy with no money, it’s about choice. A minimalist naturist lifestyle is simple awesome.

I’ve been a naturist for 50+yrs and never thought of it this way but it resonates with me too!
I like your way of thinking!. Since retiring I need little to make me happy. I have always enjoyed going with out clothes and forget that i’m not wearing any most all the time. If nudity is normal i maybe i’m a minimalist Thanks for the thought. .
