People seem more and more entitled these days, starting with kids. I do not know whether it’s true or not, or just an effect of time, however my feeling is we are not entitled to many thing but keep fighting. Social, non sexual nudity should be a right, most naturists agree and naturist federations and associations fight for this right to be enforced.
But is nudity an entitlement? On one side, I really think it should, as it is simply giving back humanity without the artifice of clothing. On another one, being nude should not be a privilege or a benefit, which an entitlement is, but the simple expression of our humanity, in its simplest form.
So, with some thinking, I come to realize that being naked in nature, at home or in naturist places is not an entitlement, it’s a choice that we have in most countries and that we should enforce through laws. However, as, for most people, nudity equals sex, we need to constantly educate about naturism and its many benefits, this is the only way the right to be naked will prevail. Not as an entitlement, but our simple basic right.
